HEY, IT'S EMILY

I interrupt the middle of wedding season madness to bring you Christine & Jeff’s beautiful Whitefish Bay wedding! 🙂 These two were married at St. Monica’s Parish in Whitefish Bay on the most beautiful summer day! The sun was shining, and the sky was the perfect balance of fluffy clouds and deep blue. Christine & Jeff, along with their hilarious wedding party, were so much fun to spend the day with.

Christine & Jeff met at UW-LaCrosse (where John and I met too!). Their first date was at the Rotary Lights display. (If you know LaCrosse, you know they have an amazing display of Christmas lights every year.) After they started dating, Christine moved to Milwaukee for a job so Jeff (who is from the Milwaukee area) moved back there as well. It was while they were managing the day-to-day life in Milwaukee that Jeff found out Christine had never read The Giver before. They started reading it together, and it was during that time that Jeff knew Christine was the one for him. He started planning the engagement, and made Christine believe that it would happen on New Year’s Eve. However, he had other plans. 🙂 They went back to LaCrosse for the Rotary Christmas lights display; and while walking around, he found a secluded spot and asked her to marry him!

Getting ready for their wedding day, they were both so calm and steady. They were SO ready to get married! Christine & Jeff were both so excited to do get the day started and see each other for the first time! They had a lovely location to see each other for the first time: overlooking majestic Lake Michigan. I’m certain it was a moment and setting they will never forget. Christine’s dress was perfect in it’s beauty and timeless class. She gifted Jeff a Harry Potter tie clip with the word “Always” engraved on the back. The gorgeous flowers by Jaimer’s Floral were the perfect accent to the ladies’ beautiful plum dresses. Their wedding day was filled with so many smiles, lots of laughter (can’t get enough of that), loving family, and faithful friends!

The day ended with a killer dance party, facilitated by Sound by Design along with a yummy cupcake display by Classy Girl Cupcakes. (Also, you definitely need to check out Christine’s Grandapa’s dance moves – he was amazing!) Storms rolled in right around sunset, which gave us the perfect moody skies and an amazing dramatic backdrop for a few final images at the end of the night. Enjoy these favorites from their Whitefish Bay wedding!
