Mallory & Nick | Hawk’s View
Mallory & Nick hosted such a celebration for their Lake Geneva Hawk’s View wedding! We have loved Mallory & Nick since we met them almost two years ago at Ashley & Jason’s wedding, so we were completely thrilled to have the privilege of capturing their wedding day! Mallory is sister to Jason, so we met Mallory & Nick during that October 2016 wedding where we were able to enjoy the Markham family all day long (and Nick too)! From the way we observed Mallory & Nick together, from John & Nick’s bond over the Badgers (important college football updates!), and from the way Mallory & her dad just danced all night long, we knew they were people we loved! This was a day we’ve been excited about for a long time!
Mallory & Nick are full of life. They know a good time, so when it came to planning their own wedding, they knew that they wanted it to be as energetic and fun as they could make it. Beginning the day getting ready at the Bella Vista Suites in Lake Geneva, both the men and the ladies had a fun-loving and relaxing morning. Following the official “getting ready” time, we all headed over to their beautiful venue: Hawk’s View Golf Course. There we had some pictures, endured the wind, and waited excitedly for the ceremony where Mallory & Nick would see each other for the first time that day.
The ceremony, officiated by a close friend of Mallory & Nick’s, was the perfect blend of humor and meaning. The guests went straight into cocktail hour, enjoying the absolutely *perfect* weather and excellent music, while family and the bridal party took a few more pictures. We were incredibly blessed to have the most picturesque sunset. It was breathtaking. Add in Mallory & Nick, and it makes my heart skip a beat. We just love the perfect skies blended with Mallory & Nick’s love.
When it came to dinner time, Mallory & Nick wanted to keep their wedding day feeling like an extended cocktail hour where people could casually have a great time. Their dinner was served at food stations, guests enjoyed various snacks and dinner options, and then the rest of the night was spent outside. Under the pavilion, we listened to lovely speeches in honor of Nick & Mallory. The outside area was the perfect place to enjoy the absolutely gorgeous weather and dance the night away!
Mallory & Nick’s Hawk’s View wedding was the absolute perfect celebration. We are thrilled to share these favorites from their perfect day in celebration of their perfect love!
