Ashlee & Mitch’s
NOAH’S Event Venue Madison Wedding
Ashlee & Mitch have known each other since they were in 5th grade. Ashlee played on Mitch’s basketball team, and it quickly turned into young love. For these two, this wedding day was a long time coming; it was a celebration of all that they’ve gone through individually and together. Falling in love with someone so young is amazing; staying together through some of the most transformative years of one’s life is no easy feat. Ashlee & Mitch have endured many of life’s challenges, and they’ve experienced deep loss as well. Yet they’ve come out of it hand-in-hand, more in love, the best of friends, and ready to face the next adventure. We love that about them. They have a depth & wisdom that life has taught them, and their love will continue to grow as they face their future as husband and wife!
John and I knew that our time with Ashlee & Mitch would be one huge celebration, and it certainly was. We loved the beauty of NOAH’S Event Venue, accented by the beautiful decor and florals. The ceremony was officiated by Ashlee’s aunt who has known both of them for many years. Everything about their day was personal and touching. There weren’t many dry eyes as Ashlee walked down the aisle, and during their vows, Mitch joked that he “caught a cold” (sniff, sniff) at the most inopportune time. 🙂
We planned on rain but were so thankful that most of it ended up arriving after we had taken our outside pictures! This group of bridesmaids & groomsmen had to endure some hungry mosquitoes, though; and we love that they made it look easy. 🙂
Family was a huge part of Mitch & Ashlee’s beautiful wedding day. Mitch’s father was a fantastic personality, full of so much joy & the biggest smile you can imagine. There were many tributes to Mitch’s late mother, and it was evident that she was an amazing woman. Ashlee’s parents were so attentive and joyful all day as well, as were their many siblings. We loved watching family and friends gather to celebrate the love they’ve witnessed in Ashlee & Mitch for many years.
It was an honor to be able to document these memories for two of the sweetest humans we know!
