Kimberly & Brockett’s West Bend Country Club wedding was a perfectly planned celebration from start to finish. Their day was a festive celebration of their love. Their bridal party mirrored the joy-filled & high-spirited souls that Kimberly & Brockett are. People traveled across the country to be here for these two, to witness this big day, and to cheer them on every step of the way. There was no shortage of laughter, smiles, and fun.
Kimberly & Brockett met at UW-Madison, where they both attended college. Brock came all the way from Maryland to Madison, Wisconsin. Kimberly grew up in the West Bend area, and after she transferred to Madison she met Brock through a high school friend. The two of them became quick friends. If you look at them today, you can see how well they match each other in personalities and abilities. That’s why it didn’t take long for both of them to realize that their friendship was soon growing into more. And their love was quickly growing into something lasting & serious.
Kim & Brock love spending time together. This was one of the things that made them realize that their relationship was something special. They love doing all the small things together; the little stuff that ends up creating our whole life. This fun fact about them was beautifully evident on their wedding day. The most exciting part of their day was the moment they could SEE each other for the first time; it’s a true mark of deep love & friendship when you simply can’t wait to BE together! They were so ready to start the day of their dreams!
Their entire wedding party was such a blast to be around all day long. They were hilarious, calm but spunky, and so supportive. They were truly the kind of friends we would’ve expected from people like Kim & Brock; just filled to the brim with happiness.
Kimberly & Brockett created an interfaith ceremony, which we really loved and appreciated. They were able to include some very neat (and fun!) Jewish traditions in both the ceremony and the dance (Horah)! Since most of the photos were finished before the ceremony, Kimberly & Brockett were able to spend time relaxing on the back patio area of the beautiful West Bend Country Club, greeting guests during their cocktail hour. Thankfully, it didn’t rain all day; although there were quite a few times when we weren’t too sure! 🙂
After a delicious dinner, touching speeches (with lots of laughter + a few tears too), the dance party began with a visit from Bucky Badger! We love how Kim & Brock brought so many pieces of their story to their wedding day, and celebrating with UW-Madison’s mascot was certainly one of them! Their friends & family danced the night away in celebration of Kimberly & Brockett.
